Hypno-psychotherapy, a longer or shorter therapy, draws on hypnosis to induce a deep state of heightened relaxation and altered awareness, during which the unconscious mind is highly receptive to new or alternative perspectives and ideas.

The unconscious mind is used as a resource and accessing it through hypnosis opens up possibilities for the maintenance of the body towards health. Hypno-psychotherapy can be used to modify a client’s behaviour, attitudes and emotions, pain management, anxiety, and stress.

Whilst all therapies require long-term training, hypno-psychotherapy should only be provided by a therapist with this certificated specialist training.
