Jungian analysis, a long term therapy, works with the unconscious, as developed by Carl Jung.
The aim in Jungian analysis is to expand the client’s consciousness in order to move toward psychological balance, harmony and wholeness. Jungian analysis examines deep motivations within the client’s psyche, thoughts and actions that lie beneath conscious awareness leading to deeper and more long lasting changes in the personality. Analysts focus on the present in sessions combined the client’s internal and external experience of their life. The aim is to align conscious and unconscious thoughts to create new values and purpose to address psychological pain and suffering. It can give you a better understanding of yourself and help you develop the skills and behaviours to manage your difficulties more effectively.
