Mindfulness Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapies, often short-term, help you focus on your thoughts and feelings without becoming overwhelmed by them. Also used to help treat depression, stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome, eating disorders and addiction.

But generally speaking it’s a really useful practice to incorporate into your everyday life, especially if you have a frantic stressful lifestyle and you are struggling to switch off from repetitive thoughts. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) incorporates techniques such as meditation, gentle yoga and mind-body exercises to help people learn how to cope with stress. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) combines mindfulness techniques like meditation and breathing exercises with cognitive therapy.
